Reserva Malbec – Syrah

BLEND: 50% Syrah: Plot 2 / 50% Malbec: Plot 1

AGING:  9 months in 500-liter, second- and third-use barrels, only 40% of the wine. Violet with striking black hues. Selection of the oldest plots in our high-altitude vineyard (1470 meters above sea level). Fermentation at low temperatures (between 20-23°C).

TASTING NOTES
A refined and elegant blend. The ultimate expression of our high-altitude vineyards in the La Ciénaga de Zonda Geographical Indication, San Juan. This wine has a deep, bright, and vibrant ruby-purple color. It offers intense notes of fresh and ripe red and black fruit, including plums, blackberries, blueberries, and blackcurrants. Floral and herbal notes are present, with mint and Andean herbs being particularly prominent. Spices and oak complement the complex aromas. On the palate, it is ample, luscious, and enveloping. Refreshing acidity. Concentrated flavors that are clearly repeated on the palate. Fruit, spices, herbs, flowers, and toasty notes. Firm tannins. Long and powerful finish. Elegant. It promises excellent aging potential.
Ideal to accompany roasted meats, game, the typical Argentine asado, and pasta with rich sauces. Serving temperature: 16 degrees Celsius.
